This session was hosted virtually over zoom on account of folks being sick.
¶ A tale of two newspapers
Two editions of The Bee were printed, both of which are scheduled for delivery tomorrow morning.
- First, an edition featuring a frontpage article written by Sean Sean Sean Alexander Alexander Alexander proclaiming that our party ruined Freddie's birthday party and that we are horrible kidnappers.
- Second, an edition crafted by Varis, Blimp, and Sapphire which proclaims that the queen is evil. Anyone who is interested in learning more should come to a talk given by Rune Faust tomorrow at 10AM outside the inn.
¶ Running some errands
As a first course of action, the party split into two groups:
After pre-emptively advertising a talk at the Kingdom of Flowers Inn, Varis and Lux decided it would be a good idea to actually go to the Inn and get permission to present from Lube. Varis felt especially passionate about this and was able to get Lube's buy-in easily. Meanwhile, Lux snuck into the back-room and discovered that Lube had been advised to alert the authorities if he saw anyone from our party. Luckily for us, Lube didn't alert any authorities.
Cheren and Blimp went to the Tavern to alert Cheren's sister of the upcoming newspaper which would probably have an ill effect on the Dalamandur clan. While there, Cheren saw Norma Jean and was able to present her with Stacey. Blimp drank a beer.
¶ Returning Paddington
After the two errands were finished, the entire party returned to the cave of Pastuzo to return Paddington. We then advised that both Norma Jean and Pastuzo should leave town with their children. Several members of our party donated gold to the cause so that they might afford food and lodging.
Before returning to the froyo shop, the party encountered a sudden appearance of Pirate Joe's floating-boat shop. Several purchases were made. A small wooden sword was purchased for Ralphie.
¶ Resting at the Froyo Shop
The party returned to the froyo shop to take a long rest. As most of the party got settled in, Feather decided to sneak into Ken's apartment upstairs in hopes of finding a bowtie for Smokey. Unfortunately, he only finds a tie and escapes unseen. Later, Brad and Chad investigate the apartment to pay their respects to Ken - Brad notices something amiss and both magicals take a moment to berate Feather.
